You are here

CCCS provides a rich array of 40+ topics in financial education webinars that you can take - one of the most robust offerings from any CCCS in the country.  These are LIVE, and just like attending one of our classes in person, but you can do it from the comfort of your desk at work, or in your pajamas at home! If you've never done a webinar, just click the link to create a CCCS profile and register for however many classes you'd like. You'll be given a link to log into at the time of the webinar to see the video portion. You can also choose to receive the audio portion through your computer speakers, or by dialing into a telephone line (if choosing this option, beware it is a long-distance call, though most home plans provide unlimited long-distance). All classes will last approximately 60 minutes. These webinars are made possible by the generous support of the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation, and Friends of Consumer Freedom.

Credit is so important - it dictates your cost of borrowing via interewst rates and fees, the products available, and whether or not you even have access to credit and loans (mortgage, car, credit card, personal)!  In addition, your credit report may be used by insurance companies, potential employers, and more, so it is important to understand the behavior that defines a great credit profile and score!  We explain scores, how to improve them, how to deal with adversity and negatives from the past, including negotiating with collectors on older debts and hurtful credit marks, and position you to earn the credit you deserve!
